Denis Doucet
Advisory Board Member

Denis Doucet brings more than 30 years of underground and surface mining experience to Evolve's Advisory Board.

He has worked in the mining industry in various operations across Canada and the United States, including over 15 years with the Noranda/Falconbridge group. Over his career, Denis has held a variety of progressive roles, from his early days as a mine planning engineer, advancing to Mine Superintendent, Mine General Manager, VP Operations and most recently President and COO at Canadian Royalties Inc. Denis has worked with a wide range of products including nickel, zinc, gold, marble and coal with mines that are at various stages of maturity from mine startups to mature operations. He has also worked across some diverse geography including the extreme conditions associated with fly in - fly out operations in the permafrost environment of Northern Canada.

Denis considers himself a problem solver with a focus on critical path thinking and applying the theory of constraints to all operational activities. People are at the center of these beliefs and Denis believes getting the best out your people through coaching and development is a key to the success of any learning organization.

Denis has a Bachelor’s degree in Mining and Mineral Process Engineering from Laval University in Quebec City.
