No magical mystery tour

Even if you don't know exactly where your change journey will take you, it's still invaluable to have a good guidebook in your hands when you start out.

Our approach is based on of hundreds of man-years of experience of making change happen successfully. It is not designed as a paint-by-numbers solution for all change programs - your situation is unique like everyone else's - but we provide tools, templates and guidelines that will help you move and learn as rapidly as possible, as you design and implement your own change program. We help you avoid the pitfalls and problems you may have encountered in the past.

Our approach is founded on the principle that we help you learn how to implement change for yourself. We couldn't do this efficiently and effectively unless we had a tangible, practical body of knowledge that we could easily give you access to.

The Evolve Methodology

We would never claim that the Evolve methodology is exhaustive, indeed we are constantly adding to it and upgrading it, but we do believe that it contains more than enough to provide an invaluable resource to our clients as they structure and lead their change programs:

Insights, concepts and principles
Perhaps most importantly, the methodology contains and is built upon a collection of fundamentals - insights and understandings drawn from research and practical experience, that help us understand how organisations really work, how people are influenced, how people react emotionally as well as logically, the relationship between learning and results and between situation, language and leadership. These insights help us to assess where we are and decide upon the best way of intervening to achieve what we're trying to achieve.

A design and delivery framework
Our methodology breaks down the implementation process into component phases and stages, and the likely or required activities, events, outcomes and deliverables that you would expect to find at each stage of a successful programme. This doesn't tell you how to build every programme, but it does provide you and your team with signposts and checkpoints that help you build the programme that is most likely to succeed.

Key leadership tools and models
No matter how well set up, successful change won't happen just by "turning the handle". If people are to achieve more, they will have to be inspired, directed, motivated and supported better than they are today. They must be more effective as individuals, and work better as teams. This always requires better leadership. So the Evolve Methodology also contains key leadership models and tools which your leaders, at all levels, can use to make their interventions more successful. We will work with your people to learn these tools by using them to deliver your programme, resulting in new leadership skills that are the absolute prerequisite for achieving any sustainable improvement.

Available to you, as and when you need it

In order that you can learn most efficiently, and deliver your program most effectively, we introduce new thinking or new tools to your people when they need them most, not in an avalanche of theory that is just plain confusing. Using the new tools in situ to achieve breakthroughs and solve problems is the most effective way of really embedding new skills.
